DIY Mother's Day Snack Board
This Mother’s Day, I wanted to do something a little extra fun for the women who raised us—and what better way to say “I love you” than with snacks? Let’s be honest, beautifully arranged food just hits different, especially when it’s got that personal touch.

A fillable, graze-worthy display of sweet & savory bites, shaped like the word MOM. Not only did it turn out so adorable, but it was also the star of our brunch table—and super easy to make! (Well, after a slightly chaotic grocery run… but we made it).
How I Built the “MOM” Snack Board 🍓🧀🍩
For the “M”s:
I got creative with savory goodness! I used rolled pepperoni and prosciutto—formed into pretty little roses using a champagne flute (yes, really! I explain how to make them below). It was way easier than I expected and looked so fancy.
Then I added:
Tiny, assorted cheeses (because obviously)
Baked pita crackers (healthier option)
Roasted pistachios for a satisfying crunch
A dash of Himalayan pink salt popcorn (so fun and unexpectedly delicious!)
Strawberries & raspberries for color and freshness
For the “O”:
Okay, this one took a little improvisation...
I originally had big plans for this letter, but the store was completely wiped out of what I needed. So I got resourceful:
I used a bowl full of Munchkins donut holes to form the perfect round “O” 🍩. Sweet, simple, and totally worked (high-five to donut magic 👏).
I’ve linked the letter trays similar to the ones I used—so you don’t have to go on the wild scavenger hunt I did 😂.
Why It Worked:
This board wasn’t just pretty—it was personal. I filled it with everything my mom and MIL love, mixing sweet and salty treats while keeping it totally brunch-worthy. It became the centerpiece of our spread, and they were so surprised—tons of photos were snapped 📸 and rave reviews all around.
Honestly, nothing says “you’re the best” like edible letters and bubbly before noon. 🍾💐
Pin it. Save it. Share it. 💖
If you’re planning a celebration—Mother’s Day, birthdays, baby or bridal showers—this DIY snack board is a total win. It’s customizable, adorable, and 100% delicious.
Until next time,
xo, Renee
🥂 How to Make Pepperoni or Prosciutto Roses with a Champagne Flute
What You’ll Need:
A champagne flute (the narrow kind works best)
Sliced pepperoni or thin slices of prosciutto (salami also works!)
🥀 Step-by-Step Instructions:
Start at the Rim
Take one slice of pepperoni (or folded prosciutto) and drape it over the rim of the flute so half of it is inside and half is outside. Press it gently against the glass to help it hold.Overlap Slices Around the Rim
Keep layering slices around the rim, overlapping each one slightly with the previous. Continue until you’ve gone all the way around the glass (usually 5–8 slices depending on the size of your meat and flute).Add a Second Layer (Optional but Pretty!)
For a fuller, more "bloomed" rose, add a second layer slightly lower than the first, tucking the slices in a little further so they create depth.Gently Flip It Over
Once your layers are in place, carefully turn the flute upside down onto your board. Lightly tap or wiggle the glass to release the rose.Adjust if Needed
If the rose shifts, just nudge it back into shape with your fingers—it should stay in place on the board.
💡 Pro Tips:
Prosciutto is softer and more delicate, so handle it gently—it creates a looser, more romantic-looking rose.
Pepperoni and salami hold their shape a bit better and are great for tight, tidy roses.
Chill the slices slightly if they’re too floppy—it helps them hold form better.
That's it! Once you've got the hang of it, these little meat roses come together in minutes and look super impressive on any snack board.
